Call for Papers

IACHE 2026 warmly invites submissions of high-quality original papers in the field of interreligious dialogue, comparative theology, ethics, and related humanities and social sciences. Following the success of IACHE 2022 at the University of Sheffield, we seek contributions that foster academic exchange and explore:

  • Emerging methodologies in interreligious engagement
  • Comparative explorations across Islam, Judaism, Christianity and beyond
  • Ethical, cultural, and social dimensions of multi-faith practice
  • Innovations in interfaith education, digital media, and public policy

Submission details:

  • Abstracts (300–500 words) should clearly outline the research question, methodology, results/arguments, and relevance to interreligious or intercultural studies.
  • Submission deadline: Friday, 21 March 2026, 23:59 CET.
  • Notification of acceptance: by Monday, 15 June 2026.
  • Full papers or presentations to be finalized by Friday, 15 August 2026, for inclusion in the conference proceedings.

Scholars, practitioners, graduate students, and emerging researchers are encouraged to submit. We especially welcome proposals that highlight collaborative, interdisciplinary or applied perspectives.
