The theme ‚Diversity, Dialogue, Democracy‘ provides opportunities for higher education chaplains to develop and re-energise their practice.
Diversity – Richness of cultures, world views and religions

Democracy – Equal Rights, Freedom and Justice
Hosted by the Conference of European University Chaplains (CEUC), this conference will foster collaboration, best-practice sharing and high-quality networking among colleagues from across the globe.
Who is the conference for?
The conference is designed first and foremost for those engaged in chaplaincy within higher education, while also being highly relevant for professionals in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, anti-hate and anti-discrimination initiatives, as well as Student Support services. It will additionally speak to chaplains working across other sectors. Participants from chaplaincies and universities worldwide are expected!
What to expect?
Spanning five days, the conference will include keynote lectures, seminars, and workshops. Participants will also have the chance to take part in tours and excursions and visit local faith communities – all while shared dinners and evening gatherings provide space to connect and network with colleagues from around the world.
